The "Tianhe" spacecraft, which will be the central part of the Chinese station, is 16.6 meters long and 4.2 meters wide, and will accommodate astronauts during their stay and the station's control center.

Vision, China: - China launched the "Tianhe" (Celestial Harmony) unit, with the "Long March 5B" missile, from the Wenchang Launch Center, on the equatorial island of Hainan (south), and this is the first of the three components of its "CSS" space station, which will be required to be built in End of 2022 sending about ten missions.

"Tianhe" is the unit in which future astronauts will reside, and the first of the three components of the Chinese space station "CSS".

Jonathan McDowell, an astronomer at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics, in the United States, said that the station would constitute a major advance for Chinese capabilities in the field of manned space flight.

He added that the completion of the station would provide the Chinese with a permanent human presence in space, and thus would allow them to greatly enhance the experience of their astronauts in space.

The station, named "Tiangou Geng" (Heavenly Palace), will move in a low-Earth orbit at an altitude of 340 to 450 kilometers, and it will be similar to the previous Russian station, "Mir", which operated between 1986 and 2001.

The station, upon completion, will weigh about 100 tons, and for comparison, it will be three times smaller than the International Space Station, "ISS".
