Damage to soft drinks in Ramadan

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, Dubai: Nutritionists emphasize that soft drinks do not help digestion, and that eating after the day of fasting leads to the elimination of the role of enzymes that help digestion, leading to poor digestion of food.

Drinking at the time of Suhoor increases the body's need for fluids, which causes the feeling of thirst during the day, because it contains a high percentage of sugar and sweetened substances, which makes the body need plenty of water after drinking it.

Therefore, it is better to moderate the intake of soft drinks in the month of Ramadan and normal days, and to facilitate digestion on the fasting monitor the amount of food that enters the stomach, and attention to not speed up to eat meals.
