The Dream Chaser is about 30 feet high and is considered a huge inflatable home for later lunar colonists and occupants, according to Sierra Space.
Sierra Space may be a newcomer to the space industry, especially since the company struck a deal with NASA for unmanned flights to the International Space Station (ISS), starting this year 2022.
The company is also working with Blue Origin, owned by Amazon founder and CEO, Jeff Bezos, to develop a commercial outpost called Orbital Reef.
Sierra Space, established as an independent company in 2021, after being part of the Sierra Nevada Corporation, has been working on the Dream Chaser space plane for more than a decade.
"As a former NASA astronaut, I've been waiting for the moment when working and living in space will be available to more people around the world, and that moment has come," Sierra Chief Space Officer Janet Kavandy said in the statement.
It is expected that CES will host more than 50,000 people and 2,200 exhibitors, and the doors of the exhibition have been opened, although concerns about the rise in cases of the Corona virus have forced many big-name companies such as Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Meta, and Tik Tok. to withdraw from the conference.
