#Daily_Times Dubai United Arab Emirates:- As the world's eyes turn to the Japanese capital, where the Tokyo Olympics are held, the news comes from there, unpleasant, as 12 cases of coronavirus related to the Olympics have been recorded.

Covid-19 cases were recorded among foreign athletes, while no cases were recorded among the Japanese, and according to the organizers, two athletes were infected, and two other non-athletes were injured, while the four must enter quarantine.

On the other hand, the Tokyo Olympics organizers announced the dismissal of the director of the opening ceremony of the Games, after media reports about his previous statements about the "Nazi Holocaust".

The head of the National Organizing Committee, Seiko Hashimoto, said in a press statement that Kentaro Kobayashi, the director of the opening ceremony, was fired because of his previous mockery of the tragedy of the Holocaust.

Kobayashi's dismissal came 24 hours before the opening ceremony of the Tokyo Olympics.

The Tokyo Olympics was supposed to be held from July 24 to August 9, 2020, but due to the epidemic, the competitions were postponed for a year.

The Tokyo Olympics will now be held from July 23 to August 8, 2021, and the organizers decided to hold the Games without foreign fans, and Japanese citizens were prevented from attending from following the Olympics in six Japanese prefectures, including Tokyo.
