Dario Costa is an Italian professional Air Race competitor, aerobatic performance pilot and flight instructor.

Dario Costa paraded by his modified plane "Zivco Edge 540" through the first dark tunnel surrounded by a concrete arch on its walls, and went out for a short road in the open air, before continuing his journey in the second tunnel.

Flying through the tunnels less than one meter of asphalt, the pilot traveled 2.26 km in 43.44 seconds at a speed of 245 km through the T1 and T2 tunnels in the Catalca district of Istanbul.

The Guinness Book of Records recorded the flight as the longest flight inside a tunnel made by an aircraft (1,610 metres).

The tunnel corridor project required a 40-person team, specially developed training technology, and more than a year of preparation.

And the Red Bull website reported that the most difficult moment in the experience was when the plane exited at a 360-degree angle between the two tunnels; The light plane was exposed to the wind, before the pilot entered the second tunnel.
