Vision, Dubai United Arab Emirates:- A video clip showed local residents, in San Cristobal, Chipas state, Mexico, assaulting Juan Salvador Camacho, a former representative of the southern state of Chiapas, and the current candidate for governor of San Cristobal, as they wrapped the noose around his neck and held him hostage for eight continuous hours, before he Set him free.

One resident said: They are tired of not fulfilling his previous promises to the townspeople in his election campaign; So they decided to ambush him in Janus City, and teach him a harsh lesson.

The video clip shows some of those who attacked the political leader throwing him vulgar terms, while another smashed his glasses, while others forced him to walk barefoot to a tree from which a rope was hanging, and one of the men shouted: "We will take off his clothes!"

The noose was placed around Camacho's neck for a short period, which in turn appeared nervous before assuring them that he had the money and could pay whatever they wanted for his release.

Camacho is currently running for mayor of the nearby city of San Cristobal de las Casas.

The political leader, whose father was a former mayor of Mexico City, later blamed him for being held hostage to the failure of the local government, saying, "Our communities in San Cristobal feel unhappy as the authorities have been indifferent to them for years, and have historically viewed them as merely electoral gains."
