The Federal Bureau of Investigation in the United States of America confirmed that a woman died, after she deliberately entered the Niagara River with her car, and it appears that entering the water was a deliberate act.
After descending into the water, the car settled just 40 meters from the towering Niagara Falls.
Immediately after the horrific accident, the rescue operation began and was fully photographed by the Coast Guard; where a diver was lowered from a helicopter to try to save the woman; But she was taken out dead.
The investigation office report said: The car remained in the river, slowly approaching the edge of the waterfall, without the authorities being able to retrieve it.
According to ABC News, no one knows how the woman got into the river; But it appears she got there via a pedestrian bridge near the water.
