Theresa Mae collided with the House of Commons' refusal to leave the EU

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates:- The British prime minister has become a staunch opponent of the House of Commons after rejecting the EU exit plan in the worst political crisis in decades.

The parliament voted against May's revised deal of 391 to 242, after last-minute talks with EU leaders failed to dispel the fears of its critics.

"The vote against leaving without an agreement and the extension of Article 50 will not solve the problem," May said.

Michel Barnier, the EU negotiator on Britain's exit from the bloc, also ruled out doing more to help London reach a deal on an orderly withdrawal, saying after the British MPs rejected the Brussels offer that the impasse would only find a way out in Britain.

"The EU has done everything in its power to help make the withdrawal agreement a success."
